NEC and UNOC sign an MOU.

On 28th June, 2024, the Managing Director of National Enterprise Corporation (NEC), Lt Gen James Mugira, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Uganda National Oil  Company Ltd  (UNOC), Ms Proscovia Nabbanja at NEC Headquarters  in Bugolobi to collaborate on projects in the Kabalega Industrial Park (KIP).

Some of the areas of collaboration include:

Fertilizer production using various feedstocks, development of Ammonia, Nitric Acid, and Ammonium Nitrate facilities, supporting the oil and gas sector, supporting the defence sector, etc

This partnership aims to promote cooperation and growth in these industries.
