On 26th May 2023, The President of the Republic of Uganda H.E Gen (Rtd)  Yoweri Kaguta Museveni commissioned  Greater Masaka Industrial Skilling Hub in Masaka City built by NEC

Construction Works & Engineering Ltd (NEC Works),  a Subsidiary of National Enterprise Corporation (NEC) as part of the Presidential Tour promoting Investment and Wealth Creation. There are 19 hubs across Uganda, skilling young people in carpentry, baking, welding, hairdressing, building, etc.
